My Magical Evening!

FINALLY!!!!!

I have, in my possession, the "...seventh and final installment in the epic tale of Harry Potter." I can't believe the day finally came!!! My sis and I had a great time at the Barnes and Noble party! We met up with some friends and just walked around and checked out all the sweet costumes and games they had going on. It was perfect! And since I went yesterday morning and stood in line for a bracelet (which puts me at a better place in the REAL line to get my book), we had our books in our hands at 12:15! The store was packed and we all counted down the last ten seconds...and I'm not gonna lie; I was screaming. It was so much fun!

Now here is my dilema...I have TONS of family in town this weekend; sister, nieces, nephews...and then tomorrow I'm traveling, so I won't get to finish the book as soon as I would have hoped, but in a way that's a good thing because I'm just way too sad to see it end. I have tons of predictions, but on the way home last night I was thinking that they will probably all be wrong because my mind is just not as imaginative, creative and brilliant as J.K's...so how could I possibly think I know how her story will end? Oh man, I cannot even wait...why am I blogging right now instead of reading?!

I think in all of your excitement, you forgot that the tank top goes on the inside, and the t-shirt goes on the outside.

First off- Emily you are crazy! I love it. I haven't read any of the books, I just want to know what happens to him. Second- Steve you make me laugh.

I think you're amazing!!!! I was so excited when you said you counted down. I would have been screaming also!!! How fun!! I did get my book. It was supposed to come ups so I was really scared. But they dumped them off at the post office and mine was in my mailbox. I stayed up all night last night and finished it at 5:ooam this morning. I'm a little tired and I loved it!!!!

HELLLLOOOOOO!!! i did say you were HOTT! and last time i checked that was a compliment. and just to clarify- i mean hot as in looking, not hot as in sweaty. that wouldn't be a compliment.

You silly, don't blog when you could be reading!!! J/k. I just finished tonight. LOVED IT! Can't wait to hear your take on it. I was at Barnes and Noble too. There was a guy dressed up as voldemort, and one as harry. Voldemort did the cruciatous curse on harry and harry was twitching on the floor. It was actually entertaining! I loved it really. Then when something broke in the distance, Voldemort pointed his wand in the direction and yelled, "repairo!" This happened numerous times. I later saw voldemort cut to the front of the line. What's with that?!?! He got the first book. I was half scared he'd curse the books so we couldn't read them. Just kidding. See, I'm the dork, really. Anyway, loved the book. Truly, wonderful.

I'm so jealous you all got to go the the HP parties and Barnes and Noble. I totally would've been dork (according to non-Harry Potter fans) right there with you all, but have a nursing baby. And by the way, everytime I see a picture of you I have to tell myself not to covet your skinny little body that looks like it never bore a child. Come to think of it, I never saw you pregnant....maybe Easton is adpoted? Yeah right, he totally looks like a Jolley to me. Anyhow, I love that you are a HP fan and you look seriously hot in every picture I see of you!

Emily, you would have been so proud! I had a wrist bracelet and was at the bookstore that night too! Of course I was in a sucky place in line (we were the last group to be called up) and then we heard that the grocery store across the street from Borders had a bunch of books without any line so we high-tailed it over (me and my sister). We were sprinting into the store despite the workers outside telling us we didn't have to run (really, we HAD to run because of our excitement!). So at 12:45am I was clutching my Harry Potter. I finished it and LOVED, LOVED it!

Your blogging because it's so great! And oh my gosh- I'm sorry steve- but you don't know anythign about fashion- that is totally in-style. People wear tanktops over shirts now- and it's not a mormon thing- I go to UofO- and lots of girls do it. Emily- you know your in-fashion- don't listen to him- any time I come home from shopping- I'll show mike my clothes- and he'll be like "hmm" and I'm like "you don't like it?" and he's like "well, i've never seen anyone else wear something like that..." boys just don't know anythign about fashion. love you!

dito to what lizzie said- if he weren't so cute- I'd guess that you secretly adopted him, because your body is amazing, it's better than mine- and I haven't had a baby- and I"M SERIOUS- I'm not trying to flatter you- I"M TELLING THE TRUTH! you have an amazing bod.

Emily you are NOT a dork! I had such a good time with you! No, Harry Potter is AMAZING and anyone who doesn't think so, is missing out on an incredibly life changing experience.

Dude! My neighbors just finished their copy and gave it to me to read. And, I totally turned it over to bed-ridden Tara. Can you believe I did that?

Ok, I am so excited to read it. Up at Aspen Grove I swear EVERYONE was reading Harry Potter. But I don't want any spoilers so don't tell me what happens! I think you are the coolest dork I know. How fun to go to the HP party! BTW, my crazy nephew got it and finished it on Sat.
