Humbled

Thanks so much everyone for all your well wishes on our new adventure! And a BIG thanks to Christi, Alison, Destiny and Katie for helping us look for a place to live...you were all SO helpful! We're excited...Steve started his job today and found a house, so hopefully Easton and I will be able to get down there soon as well. I'll put some pictures up of the house sometime soon.

So during this whole process of quickly trying to find a house to rent in an unknown city without actually seeing it, moving, starting a new job, having a sick baby...I found myself getting a little stressed out. Today I am feeling a lot better and more appreciative. Thanks to blogging I am able to keep up with the goings on of good friends, and see what they are up to. One of my friends has 2 young boys at home, one of them sick, her husband has been out of town, they've been fixing up their house while the prepare to find renters and move, and one of their sons is getting ready to have surgery. Oh, and it's like a million degrees where she lives. She is amazing, and does it all probably with a smile on her pretty face! I truly felt humbled, and way grateful for the in - laws that I have around here to help me with everything going on here!

Another friend of mine just announced that after 6 years of waiting they will finally get to become parents and are adopting a baby in December! Talk about putting things into perspective! All of a sudden the things I was stressing about just don't seem to be that big of a deal. Our move and house will work out and Easton will feel better soon and go back to sleeping all night.

I know that everyone has their days and is allowed to be stressed when they feel overwhelmed, but I'm so grateful for strong friends and good news that help to remind me how very blessed I am.

In other news...here are a few new pictures. My batteries were dying in my camera, so they might be a little blurry.

Helping Grandma in the yard

Okay so I'm a little annoyed. I don't know what happened to the icon up top that lets me center my text...it disappeared. Dumb.

I know how it is to be stressed out for whatever reason and then to get good news from other people or hear their trials. Thank goodness we have people in our lives who are going through different things that help strengthen us and see our life in a new light. I'm glad you're happy now and I know that things will work out great in Vegas. You are a beautiful person inside and out and I hope you know that! I love you.

When did Easton get to be so blond? Sheesh. He can't keep changing on me, you know.

Good luck with getting everything going to Las Vegas. Don't have too much fun with all of the girls. Can't wait to see your new digs!

Oh I bet it is stressful to deal with all that! hang in there! I'm glad you already found a place to live, that has to take some of the stress off. Good luck with everything!

Thanks guys...you are all the best!

Ilene...I guess it's being out in the sun that is making him a blondie. Steve and I both had super blonde hair when we were little too, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Well, we all know blonds are pretty dang cool. So it is okay that he is going blond; just have him check in with me before he decides to change okay?

Emil, I am sorry you are so overwhelmed right now, I know how it is. It was so stressful moving here and making sure everylast detail is taken care of.
And thank you for your love and support. I kinda blushed when I read this post.

I love you!
