Brittney

This is mostly for me, but also for my family. Someone close to our family passed away last week (see story here), and to make it even more sad, she was only 17 years old; a senior in high school. Brittney was the daughter of my brother Brad's girlfriend. We had all come to love Kristy, Brittney and Kristopher, and loved their Thanksgiving visits. They are such good kids, and we loved that they brought our brother out of hiding once a year. :)Brittney, Steph, Cierra, and Jenni

My thoughts are with their family and friends. It's such a horrible thing, but has made me appreciate those close to me...family and friends. The funeral is tomorrow, and I'm grateful to my parents, brother and sisters for going, some traveling a long way, and being supportive to our brother. A family at it's best...coming together to love and support one another. It really helps me remember what this life is all about.

I'm so sorry Em. I read the story and it's so unfortunate. It makes me so glad that we have the gospel.

It is so hard to lose a loved one and just as hard to watch someone you love lose someone so close to them. I am so sorry and I know it is hard to know what to do but I think that your brother knowing he has the love and support of his family will really help him.

Hey Em I'm so sorry for your loss, I can't believe your brother lives in MC thats where my mom grew up, we know tons of people there and visit all the time... well not now that I'm cross country. We'll definitely keep his family in our prayers as well as your family.

What a good idea to commemorate her here. I love that picture. I'm so glad I got to meet her; she was so sweet. Our love to Brad Kristy and Kristopher. I just can't even imagine what they've been through.
