See Ya Winter!

Man I used to hate February with all of my heart. It was late into winter; cold, dark and LONG. For being the shortest month of the year, it always seemed the longest to me. Since moving here I have become quite fond of February. We have had some sunny, warm days with NO wind! So some friends and I took advantage and loaded the minivan up for an outing with the kids.

We went to a little chocolate factory in town that gives free tours. I can't imagine paying for it...it took all of 25 seconds to get through it. And in true factory tour fashion, were able to stare at the people making the chocolate, which I'm sure they love so much. Being around that much chocolate made Easton and Emery get into the Valentine's spirit, that's for sure! Anyway, since I don't love chocolate, going outside was the fun part for me. They have a beautiful cactus garden on the grounds that we walked through and let the kids run around in (don't worry there were fences) while we enjoyed the warm sun.Another reason for our little outing was to see our friend who just had a new baby girl. Congrats Katie! It was fun to see her little baby; I forget just how little they are! The trip was made complete by a stop for lunch, because by this time, the kiddos were ready for it. They had been pretty good the whole time.

I think we wore Easton out...this is him on the way home. He just had too much fun I guess. I am looking forward to more sunny days like this, and I hope wherever you live the sun comes out so you can go and play too!!

You and Easton are so cute in that picture of all of you. You are really pretty. Sounds like a fun day! A chocolate factory sounds amazing. It is still odd to me that you don't enjoy it. but you know, whatever floats your boat!

That sounds like so much fun! Speaking of factories, there is a tortilla factory in Califonia Adventure and not only is it fun to watch how they make tortillas but it smells good in there and you get a fresh tortilla at the end! I love it! Isn't it great to live where the sun comes out regularly? No gloomy February here! :o)

Is it weird that a tortilla factory sounds way cooler to me than a chocolate one?

Do you remember the huge Hershey chocolate factory we toured in Pennsylvalia, I think? Yummy! I have been eating chocolate all week. Kylie brought me some that was to die for, I was wishing Jenni was here to share it with me because I know she would appreciate it. It's time to cut back now that Valentines day is over.

That sure looks like a fun outing with friends for both you and Easton. Love you guys!

I'm so jealous of your weather! We're going to Hershey next weekend and I'm praying the weather is at least decent and we don't get snowed in along the way

Um, you and the girls need to stop rubbing all that lovely weather, baby visit, and In-N-Out burgers in my sad cold face.

Ooh, I can feel the warmth of that sun in that group pic! I wish I was there! Actually, we've had a lot of sunshine here and I have no reason to complain right now. I feel like spring is really on its way and I want to celebrate it too!

So which lucky girl will end up being E's high school sweetheart, Emery or Reagan? In one blog he's dancing with Reagan and the next one he's smooching Emery. If you don't watch out he's going to be breaking hearts before preschool!
