Horsies and Fathers

We just got back from a quick trip to Utah for the big birthday bash of Steve's grandparents. We stayed with his aunt and uncle who were too nice to let his entire family invade their house for 2 nights. This post is dedicated to the horses they had and with whom all the kids were obsessed with. I was surprised Easton wasn't afraid of them.
Trying to feed the horses by pulling weeds or throwing hay at them.

Brennen being so brave.

Ashlynn, even with a broken arm wasn't scared!

While on the subject of horses, a BIG congratulations to Steve's cousin, Ethan who won first place in his event in the State High School Rodeo Finals over the weekend. Way to go Ethan!

And, last but not least, and having nothing to do with horses...Happy Father's Day Steve! Easton is one lucky little boy, we love you so much! And to my own dad, I love you, Happy Father's Day!

OK, so Easton looks like a real farmer, almost! The crocs give it away- but they look muddy, so they almost pass as irrigation boots! That's cool that he loved the horsies, did you try to put him on one? Glad you had fun and glad you're back!

Awesome post! Thanks for updating so quickly. I guess my "cuss out" worked, at least for you. Things look so familiar and the kids look so good with that country background. Loved having all of you - I wish you could come around more often. Glad the accomidations were adaquate.

Glad you made it home safely! Take care and I will let you know on the furniture.

Have a great day

Such an adorable post! I love the photos. What happened to poor Ashlynn's arm? Glad you were able to go and that all went well. Easton looks like such a big boy sitting by his daddy and hope Steve had a good day.
love you all!

Your pics turned out so cute, but then they usually do! It was so good to see you guys! The only bad part is that now I miss you even more! Lani

Love it! Easton is getting so big and I miss him on a daily basis. It was so fun to see you guys, even if it was so short. Good luck in the NV heat...

How fun! I love all the pictures. Did you do those yourself?

I can't believe you came to Utah and didn't call. I'm pissed.

Just kidding. I hope you had fun!

What can I say Liz, I didn't want to see you.

YEA RIGHT! I would have if we had more time...we were there for about 24 hours.

I'm glad you had a fun trip. I might have to be mad at you for not calling me but I understand how short trips go... Also this is the only time of year that Utah is sort of pretty, so don't feel bad. Enjoy the sun, trust me! That's why we're moving!
