Last of the Visitors

I guess it all had to end sometime. Easton and I have been pretty occupied for almost the past month straight. First we went to Oregon, then to California, then Aimee came, and Grandma and Grandpa, then Beaver...we're so sad to see it end. Here are the last few pics. I keep hearing all this talk about summer being over because everyone is going back to school. I'm not ready for summer to be over. I want more visitors! So does Easton, he's bored with just me.
My mom's birthday was Sunday, so we celebrated on Saturday by going to the Rio buffet (very, VERY good) and then up to the Stratosphere to watch all the crazies on the rides. Happy Birthday Mom!
Helping Grandpa with the tools.

Watching the master at work on those yummy cinnamon rolls.

At the park...yes, the park! Easton still doesn't really love it, but I hope that changes once the weather cools down and we can actually go more often. Who ever heard of a kid who doesn't like the park? Thanks Mom and Dad for a fun visit! We love you!

You're lucky you have family that comes to visit you. Sorry they all had to leave, but I guess you're just stuck with us now! Sorry, but we've kind of missed you this last month. It's nice to have you back, now we just need to hang out more. And I'm ready for summer to end, I don't care what you say!

I'm with Christi I want a cinnamon roll!! :)

You gotta love the Beav don't ya? Did you run into Vernon & Mary? How about the creamery? Did you mosey on over for some cheese curds? It is just the most hilarious little town!

I can't remember if I commented on the earlier post but I love the owls everywhere that your Grandma has. Classic!

Looks like your dad might have a death grip on the railing at the Stratosphere. I know I would!!!
I have never been up there, maybe it a height thing.

Glad you had fun this summer. I was sorry that our trip to Vegas was Easton and Emily free, next time. I get one last (or first) fling this weekend, Abi and Emalee are watching the store while Jeff & I head to Lake Powell with our cute neighbors and their kids. Can't wait. Wish the whole fam could come but such is life.

Wow so it seems like your parents come to visit quite a bit. So fun for you all! Last time I went to the Stratosphere and went on the ride there on the way down we were in the elevator with a bunch of REALLY drunk guys and after that drop we were so scared they'd throw up all over us.

That was so fun! I want to scrapbook all my pictures now before I start back to work. Wish we could have stayed longer but then you would get tired of us and we don't want to wear out our welcome. Did we even get the recipe for the cinnamon rolls? I think I have it somewhere but she is the master.

It would be a nice Fall activity for you and Easton to make for all your friends not that you have teased them.

Isn't it fun to have family visit. I love it and the kids love it. Looks like Easton loved every minute of it. Even the park. :)

How fun to have so many visitors and be able to go visiting all month. I'm sure they'll all be back during school and holiday breaks to get out of the cold (and to see you guys, of course). You just wait!

so how do you get people to come visit you so often? i am jealous- I have never gotten my parents to come up and visit me! It is a little big of a drive- 18 hours now, but still! We should be worth it right? Looks like you guys had a crazy fun summer! I am with everyone else and am seriously thinking about making some cinnamon roles now!
