Where's Aimee?

Steve's sister and her family were headed to Disneyland this week, and on their way they stopped by for a visit and left Aimee with us for a week. YAY!!! We had some fun times before they headed to CA, including swimming, going to see the Conservatory at the Bellagio, and the lions at MGM. Oh, and the girls got in dinner and a movie (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants...I liked the first one better). We had a houseful for a couple of nights but it was a lot of fun spending time with them.

Easton LOVED having aunt Aimee here for a week, and SO DID I! I am reminded at just how sick of me Easton gets whenever we have visitors...he is just overjoyed to have someone new (and in most cases, cooler) to hang out with. Aimee played with him, read him stories, taught him new tricks, and helped me so much while she was here. We also watched a lot of the Olympics and got our books read. Every spare second we had we were reading about vampires. I didn't want her to go home!

Sheridan's DELICIOUS frozen custard.

One of the reasons I wish Aimee and I lived closer is so we could go hiking together more often. She loves it too. We braved Red Rock even though it was so hot. We had a great time, but man, Easton is getting heavy. I made Aimee give me a break.

My parents got into town the day before Aimee left. Here we are playing a Jolley favorite...rummy. Obviously Aimee and I are the only ones taking it seriously.

Thanks for coming Aimee, and thanks Ryan for lending your wife to us for a whole week! When I was putting Easton to bed he said, "Where's Aimee?" We miss you already!

Glad you had so much fun with your SIL, and your parents. I'm jealous- I wish my family would come visit me and help entertain Nathan. I just count on the TV to do that these days. We need to get together this week!

How much fun is that? I'm sad that there was no time for a stop in Grantsville to see the "old" aunt. Oh well, I'll just have to head north one of these days......and south too.

Looks like so much fun. Glad you were able to spend so much time together and enjoy each other.

Love ya tons, as always!!!!

No WAY Easton could get tired of you, you are the coolest person on the planet! I started noticing the same thing with Allie though, she cries her eyes out when she leaves nursary. Most kids cry when their parents leave, she cries when her parents come back. Lovely.
