Winner & Christmas Festivities

COURTENAY WINS!!!!

I'd say she's pretty deserving of a gift...her husband has been serving in the Middle East for months and won't be home until February...surely something special from me will make life just a tad better? And I'm so excited that I get to give it to her in person!!

Moving on to some happenings as of late. We're trying to hit up all of the holiday things there are to do around here. Easton likes the lights and Santa Claus this year, so it has been fun.
Picking out our tree! Our house smells so nice.

The Cactus Gardens at the Chocolate Factory. Last year Easton SCREAMED when we made him sit on Santa's lap, so this year we just went with a high five.

Went to ride the train in Boulder City again because it's all decorated for Christmas. It was FREEZING cold and windy, but we still had fun.
We had a fun weekend together. We also took Easton to his first movie; Bolt. Pretty cute for a dog movie. He did good for the first half, but was kinda wiggly during the last half...but we made it all the way through. Lately Easton has been saying how cute everything is...so he says, "Bolt...he's so cute."
This is what we did this afternoon. He did it all by himself. He was having a hard time getting the glasses on, so he just set them on the ground by his feet. It's fun to watch him put the parts on...he usually gets it about 50 % right.

I'm SO ready to go to Oregon on Thursday.

Cute Tree! Hannah screamed when we put her on Santa's lap last year too. This year we couldn't even get her near him. When he came into the room at the Ward Christmas party she wanted to sit on my lap and wouldn't get down. Myah didn't mind him at all! Hope you have a great Christmas. Be safe!

Love the Santa high five. That's a good way to go. This year, our Santa made the mistake of giving Ben a candy cane the second he sat down, so all our pictures are of him trying to open it. I was kind of annoyed Santa didn't at least wait for a pose first.

I love the Mr. Potato Head. Minutes of entertainment (at least at our house).

I am jealous that you have a real tree!!! Too bad that we missed the train, but we still had a good time even though it was like a freaking hurricane outside!
Good thinking with the high 5!

What the real Christmas tree in the desert? Poor Nick, I made him put up our fake "recycled grandparents" tree. He's totally embarassed.

Isn't it amazing how big they can get in one year? I betcha next year he'll shake Santa's hand. I totally love the artistic talent displayed by his potato interpetation. Hey maybe someday that will be worth big bucks!

I love all the pictures, they are so cute. And whats with Steve in shorts? Is it really that warm still? Another thing, why haven't you put Easton's two year old pictures on the slide yet?? Come on! Is it because you don't want to brag about his future modeling career?
