It finally happened! We have been in our new house for a few nights now and it's feeling pretty good. It couldn't have happened so quickly had it not been for our friends who helped out so much with the babysitting, moving, etc. THANK YOU! Of course now that I have a new house I immediately hate all my old furniture and decorations and have to have new everything...but that may have to wait awhile. It seems we're saving up for another trip to Oregon this August!
So, I have been too lazy to take any pictures, but so far the only project I have started is painting Easton's room a blinding Orange color. It illuminates the whole house. I may have a thing or 2 to learn about colors and painting, but I actually kind of like it. I'll take pictures when I'm done, but really they won't do it any justice. I don't think that tone can be captured on film...or even the best digital camera. Between that and unpacking, shopping, cleaning, and trying to keep my 2 year old somewhat entertained - not very much has actually been done and by the end of the night I literally fall into bed because I can no longer walk.
Now that we're actually in, it feels so good, and like so many people said would happen, all the drama and stress is somewhat of a blur. When I feel my house is presentable I'll flood my blog with pictures...promise.
