Moms Rule

Backing up a little bit, I need to write about when my mom was here. It has taken me this long to really be able to put into words how amazing she is. I mean, obviously I have always loved my mom, but after Easton was born and I became a mother myself, I really came to appreciate all she has done for me even more. Living in Eugene at the time, she was so close and helped me so much I don't know what I would have done without her! This time around, the same applies, only multiplied by a million. She stayed with us for almost 2 weeks after Carly was born and took complete care of everything. For a good week I couldn't do anything except sit on the couch. I was battling nursing and could barely move. She took care of Easton, cooked, cleaned, did laundry, held Carly, let me take naps...I'm sure there is more.

Mom, you're the best! You make me want to be a better mom to my own kids. I love you so much, thanks for taking such good care of us!

Hooray for moms! They really are the best. Your mom takes such good care of people. She did me, too, when my babies were born. I'm so glad you had her while you were suffering so badly!

I agree, MOMS RULE!! I'm so glad your mom was able to come and help out with new little Carly. We sure missed her at Girls Camp... glad you were able to reminisce about it though. It was so weird, but at the same time not, to be a stake adult this year instead of a unit leader.
* Love the pic of you and Carly sleeping. :)

One of the reasons I get excited to have a baby is that I know my mom will come stay with me!
