Pre-Wedding Activities

While the main purpose of our trip was to see Jenni and Michael get married, we did manage to squeeze in a few other activities during the week. The wedding deserves a post all it's own, so these are just the events leading up to it. There is a lot pf pictures, which is weird because I really feel like I hardly took any pictures while I was there.

Easton was in total heaven while we were there. When we got to grandma's house he said, "Mom look, grass!" He played outside all day long. I hardly ever saw him during the day actually. His older cousins kept him entertained. A BIG thanks to them for being so nice and patient with him.
My good friend Brynne watched Easton for me while we went up to Portland for Jenni to go through the temple. I was so glad I was able to go, and so grateful to my niece for watching Carly the whole time. Easton had so much fun back home playing with Cade...way more fun than he would have had he come with us. I met up with them at Oakway for some awesome outdoor music. THANK YOU!
Just cute.

Apparently all the wedding planning finally caught up to my dad. He was a little tuckered out.

A close second to the wedding itself was catching up with Megs! She is back from Europe and I had almost forgotten how much I love talking and spending time with her. She spent the whole afternoon with me and I had so much fun catching up...I missed you Meg, sorry the only pic we got was while I was nursing!
The bridal shower. Our neighbors threw Jenni a great was super fun and there were a ton of fun people to see and visit with. And some YUMMY food. Below is my older sister Melanie, and my nieces Bella and Bethany. Mel and Beth were my life savers all week. They loved on Carly so much and were so helpful. It was so fun to see their family and I wish I could have spent more time with them. Being with my sisters makes me miss them and wish we lived closer.
And this was way fun. Rosie turns 30 today (Happy Birthday!!!) so while we were all in town together we had a quaint little surprise party for her...just the 4 of us, some yummy Sweet Life cupcakes and our 7 kids!!! I think we figured out it had been about 7 years since we were all together. Crazy! Love these girls.
Me and Carly (she's attached to me, what can I say?), Brynne, Rose, Brenley

I'm glad you and Easton had so much fun seeing your family. You look awesome for having a month old baby!! I'm going on operation diet till I'm 30!!! Then, maybe by the time my baby is 6 months old I could look as good as you!

Really did you just have a baby? Because other than the baby being attached to you, you wouldn't be able to tell! You look great!

Loved all the pictures. I just got a cute one in the mail today of you and Sarina that Barbara sent. You really did get to catch up with a lot of people that you love, that is so great. I loved having you here so much, it just went by too fast. I will look at all the great photos and remember.
