Easter 2010

I can't believe it's already Easter, I swear it was just Christmas. How does the time go by so fast? Yet it sometimes seems so slow too - like when Easton had diarrhea all day on Easter and was literally in the bathroom every 10 minutes. Too much info? We were lucky to have Grandma Lani here the week leading up to Easter. Boy am I glad she's a teacher and gets Spring Break off...we always look forward to her spring visits!

Sometimes I am bad when it comes to certain traditions (read: I'm lazy). I feel like dying eggs is a lot of effort, seeing as how neither Easton or I like to eat them. But once we got started we were having fun and I was glad that Easton was into it; and Steve will eat them.

Does anyone else think it's cool that my cups match the dye color? Or is that just me?

We had a yummy dinner and fun Easter egg hunt with our friends in their nice backyard with actual grass. It was pretty dang cute, I love how they are getting older and getting into holidays more.

To top off the great day we took a walk around our neighborhood. Some people get all dressed up in their fancy new Easter clothes and take pictures: we headed to the construction site and set up my camera on a bulldozer.

Happy Easter!!!

I appreciate your mug matching dye easter cups. Sounds like something OCD I would like to do. I also love your picture taken on a bulldozer. I didn't get dressed up and take any fancy family pictures either. We were lucky to even get dressed on Sunday.

Love the matching mugs! Speaking of time flying can you believe Beth & Britt are going to be 15?!? How did that happen so quickly? Cherish each diarrhea moment...truly!!!

Too cute for words!!!! Your cup matching, Granilani with her darling kiddos, and your beautiful family in front of the local bulldozer. What great memories.

You and Lizzie keep mentioning "outside" activities. I'm so jealous! It's still too cold in Oregon. Color coordinating your dye was a good idea! Carly gets cuter every single post. I know I say that every time, but it's true!

I hope Lani doesn't mind me calling her Lucky Lani but dang she is so lucky to get to spend a week with you guys and you are lucky to have her. I'm happy for her because I know how good that feels.

Are you kidding, coloring easter eggs is one of my all time favorite activities, right up there wiht decorating the tree but much less stressful for me. I wasn't going to do it this year, no need:) But even though all the parents told me they were doing it with their kids I couldn't resist, we decorated eggs and they loved it. Next year I will have matching cups!

The pictures are adorable and I love being able to get a peak of what your Easter was like.
Love you all so much!

Awesome updates em. I've been behind in reading them so took some time this morning. Your kids are sooo cute, you look great, and that 80's party looked like it rocked!! Hey, the girl on the far left, is her name Brooke? If so, that's a friend of mine from BYU-Hawaii. She's in vegas now and you might know her...small world's collide. :)

Yay, Happy Easter! I feel the same way about egg dying. I can't not do it, but I never eat them so it seems kinda pointless. That reminds me, though. I was gonna make potato salad for Darren with them.

Love the pics of those adorable kids, keep them coming please!
