A Disney Halloween!

This year we were able to go to Disneyland again for Halloween, thanks to Steve's work. So before heading out of town we crashed our friends' ward Halloween party. Our costumes are somewhat thrown together because I didn't think we'd be needing any since we'd be out of town. I think my little conductor and pirate turned out pretty dang cute. I was supposed to be a witch but my hat wouldn't stay on for more than 2 seconds (love you Target dollar spot, but you failed me on this one).
Warning: Picture Overload

Cute buddies: Conductor and Builder

I don't know why I think this game is so funny, but I do. Watching E do it made it even more funny.

Who's ready for DISNEYLAND?!?!!?! This is right after we put them in the stroller, in the parking lot of our hotel. Carly thought sitting by Easton was THE coolest thing in the world. I didn't get a smile this big the rest of the trip.

First ride, just like last time.

One of our family favorites, the Buzz Lightyear ride. Easton loved defeating Zurg.

Carly pretty much tolerated all the rides. This picture is for Jenni because I think she looks just like you here.
Easton was tall enough for a lot more rides this time. Autopia was a BIG hit.
How cute is he?

Carly wasn't very fun to wait in line with. Good thing she's cute.

Saturday morning we woke up to a tiny bit of rain. We got to the park right as it opened and it was fun to get onto some rides without having to wait in line.
This trip was all about Cars and Toy Story...2 of our favorites and totally cute!

Woody was my favorite character by far. E was so happy to see him.

I love Disneyland, but we had LOTS of fun at California Adventure this time. Their parade was amazing. Like, I got teary because it was so cute and fun. I loved the Toy Story float. Especially the person swinging at the top...

Would it bother anyone else that the lady taking their picture didn't get the whole 'R'?
How hard is it?

We made a quick stop at Huntington Beach. It was beautiful. Kids got sandy, E peed on the beach (because he refused to go to the bathroom in the parking lot and we were too lazy to walk all the way back there) and the seagulls ate all our food.

GREAT VACATION!!! Steve never gets to take time off work, so never gets to come on any vacations with us. I'm glad he got to play and play and play with the kids and not have to worry about work for a few days. The kids did SO good; made it all day going from ride to ride, slept like champs in the hotel room, had very few melt downs and were just as cute as can be. I'm ready to go back SOON! I'm sad I didn't get more pictures of all of the cute decorations that were up, it really looks amazing.

Thanks to Steve's work for an awesome trip
Thanks to Christi for letting us use your double stroller
Thanks to the Cassidy's for hanging out with us and swapping so we could go on big kid rides
Thank you California Adventure for having exactly ONE bathroom so that my 4 year old who was about to get on a ride, had to run half way around the park, holding himself, only to barely make it in time. We got lots of looks for that one.

We wrapped up Halloween with some trick or treating around the neighborhood and a small spooky dinner. Halloween is so much fun with kids. We had a blast!

If we could have gone with you, I would have got the whole R in the picture! I hate trying to find a capable person to take a family picture in a place like that! So glad you guys had fun- I love the shot of the kids in the stroller- so happy! I also know what you mean about being teary eyed at the parade. I get that way too and then I realize that the kids aren't even into it. I'm a DORK!!

Speaking of teary eyed! I loved the photo overload, which it never could be, they were all so adorable. I guess Steve was dressed up as a lawyer and you all look so cute. Thrown together costumes are the BEST and all you ever had I'm sure. You got some great shots of the kids with different expressions, I love Carly with her toung out and the Ghostess with the mostest is the cutest ever! Easton looked like he is loving Disneyland in every picture. I'm so glad you got to go and wish I could have seen how cool it was decorated, seems like a good time of year to go. Super great post, THANKS for letting us see your fun trip and how cute they were for Halloween. XO

Have I mentioned how jealous I am of your Disney Halloween?! I want to do that someday. And CA Adventure - we haven't been there in a while. Carly makes for an adorable pirate and I would also be a little ticked that she cut off the top of the "R"!! ;)
