* Ward breakfast with fire truck and bike parade. This was my favorite part of the day. I think our ward is the best and our activities are always so much fun. The weather cooperated and it wasn't too hot to be outside. For some reason when the fire truck showed up I got all emotional! It was just fun. The kids were thrilled and the firefighters couldn't have been nicer to our huge group of kids. They let them all check out the truck inside and out, and have a turn spraying the hose. They were so kind and the kids loved getting sprayed. I also loved having a flag ceremony and standing by Easton as he said the Pledge of Allegiance. Pretty soon he'll be my little scout! The kids also loved the bike parade; they rode their bikes in circles for forever and had a blast doing it. Complete success! Thanks to everyone who made it so much fun!
* Swimming for 5 minutes before the clouds and wind rolled in. Steve even came with us...he doesn't get to swim very much and the kids loved that he came. Too bad it was a little too cold for swimming.
* Bbq and fireworks with the Wayments (my camera broke so no pics of that). Dallin as always grilled awesome burgers and put on a good fireworks show. So much fun!
I love the 4th and our beautiful country!

I have been waiting for this post and it was so great. Could the kids be any cuter??? That bike parade was the best idea and I'm glad it was all such a success. Do you ever still think of the pledge in French? I do, every time we say it. I loved having the children learn it in Carden school so I know how you were feeling. Easton is growing up to fast. Carly's looks so cute!! I hope your camera is okay. Love you guys.
um, are you wearing stripes?! ;)
Your children are adorable!! Glad you had such a great 4th, one of my favorite holidays!
Great pics! Oh I LOVE your new ones! You're so good about getting nice pictures of your family. I only have some 'cause of Lizzie, and Greg isn't in them. They look GREAT!!! I'm glad you had such a good 4th. I know what you mean about getting emotional! I always listen to a few particular country songs that day and it gets me kinda teary. I MISS YOU!!!! Your kids are so scrumptious.
Great photos! you all look so cute in your 4th of July garb! And Emily, I saw the pic of you in the corner...you look beautiful!
That sounds so fun. Next year, I'm hoping Jet can ride in the neighborhood bike ride. I'm jealous of the fire truck!
