This is the before picture...he has some wings going on.
It was kind of a last minute decision to get his hair cut today, but while Christi and I were out and about we ran into this SUPER cute place for little kids. They had race cars for them to sit in, and movies to watch while they got their hair done...totally cute. So, we thought we would just go for it, since I have been meaning to do it anyway.
Easton did not even care about all the cool stuff they had. He started screaming the second she put the little apron thing on him. It was kinda funny, but a little sad too. Nothing would work; baby einstein, a sucker...we even gave the binky a shot, even though he barely likes it anymore. That worked for about 2 minutes.
The lady did a really good job, even though he was screaming and wiggly. I have to say, even though he was screaming the whole time...I loved watching him. It was just such a big boy thing to have done; his hair cut. He was sitting up in this cool chair and losing his baby hair...oh, I was loving it. I like this one because it shows the shoes he is wearing. He didn't have any and the lady said he needed some, so he got to borrow Reagan's pink ones.
Pretty much done...see how much he is loving it?

All I can say is that he is so cute and looks like such a big boy. And he looked really cute in the pink sandals!
Aw! My little boy is growing up! I remember his dad's first hair cut. He screamed the whole time too! They didn't have any "cutsie" stuff WAY back then. Just an old grumpy old barber who didn't appreciate the "moment". I'll have to dug it out and send it to you! I miss you all so much.
Em, he was only trying to do what I told him last night in my note to him and you didn't get the hint!
He looks so blond and so grown up and I must admit, adorable with his hair cut. Oh, do I ever feel for Lani right now after having you all live with them and having to let you go.
I bet that place does a good business, what a great idea.
Well, give him a big hug and tell him I know he tried.
Way cute! I love when little boys have cute haircuts!
That is so dang cute! I totally noticed Reagans shoes and was going to comment on them before you said something. I love it. I can't wait to see his new 'do!
What a handsome boy! Love the pink sandals! I can't wait to see him!
That's so funny you got his hair cut I didn't read your title just looked right at that 1st pic and said to myself ... that boy needs a haircut and low and behold you got his haircut!
What a sad face, but oh so cute. We need a chair like that for McKay. When Danny cuts his hair, I have to hold him and hair gets everywhere!
Awww.....so cute. We are too cheap to pay for a cut like that. Ben does Dallin. It's a great idea though. Much cleaner too. One time we gave Dallin a popsicle to make him sit still. Yeah....it got hair on it. He didn't care.....just kept on lickin'
That's funny Diane! I hope to be able to one day try and cut his hair, but for his first one I wanted to be sure it looked cute. Now that it's shaped I might be more willing to try myself. Popsicles are a good idea.
I just can't bare to cut Cade's hair. Now, I guess it's because of his curls...(who could cut those off???) but because I don't want him to "grow up" yet. You seem very pleased to have a big boy now. Time for another baby???? :)
E is so cute! And I must admit, his hair cut does look better than his wingy hair but dang, he's so big now! Aaron will for sure do our boys, I'm chicken when it comes to guy cuts but I can do girls, no prob! But dang your boy is Cu-UTE!!!
What?! where is my Eugene long-haired boy? Thomas is getting to be shaggy too but Dan doesn't want it cut- I think because Thomas' front side hair is pretty sparse and his longer hair acts as a comb over type of look. It's sweet.
Ilene--The long-haired shaggy, mullet days are over...he is now a short, cute little man! I wish so bad I could see Thomas' comb over. I miss him.
Oh Em...I feel the pain. Tanner is 2 1/2 and has had to have a haircut every 4-6 weeks since he's been born, and every flipping time, it is horrible. He cries like I am torturing him. He wiggles and jerks his head the whole time so I have to spike it up in the "messy" look to cover up all of my mistakes. Your boy is a doll. I wish I could meet him.
That is just too freaking sweet. I love that he's so sad to lose his hair! Did you keep a lock to put in his journal? Just kidding...
So cute, Emily. He looks so dang fun. I hope you guys are enjoying Vegas. Hopefully the winters there will be a bit more bearable.
Liz- as a "free" gift from the hair cutting place they gave us a card with a bag full of his hair and a picture...it looks kinda gross though, it's all hanging out everywhere...what a treasured keepsake.
I cannot believe how different he looked afterwards! He looked so cute in the chair! I can't believe a BABY needed to wear shoes! Were they worried about foot fungus or something! Gimme a break!
Emily,
He is so cute. Hair cuts are hard, I love the long haired little boy, but the heat here is too much. I will call you this week for the nitty gritty on backgrounds. Thanks! Chels
emily,
forget the comment on the backgrounds. another friend of my has the same photo and her name is emily and she posted me something about backgrounds! sorry!
Oh what a little man you have! Its only been a month since I've seen him and he looks so grown up already. Good thing Aunt MeeMee is coming next month, don't let him grow any more before then, k!
