Quick Visit!

Some of Steve's family was in town this week and they were so nice to squeeze in some time for us. His grandparents and Aunt and Uncle are in the furniture biz, so they came for a convention at the World Market Center. I think it kept them pretty busy, so we were grateful that they made time for us in the evenings (and especially grateful for the yummy dinner they treated us to!). I also received my first lesson in shooting craps from Steve's Grandpa, and I was totally into it. It's so fun to watch! I could definitely see myself getting hooked to that...maybe I better stay away.
Anyway, it was a fun couple of evenings we had to hang out and just chat. We haven't been able to see these people very often since we've been married because we lived so far away, but Vegas just happens to be in between both of them; Utah and Arizona. Yay for us!
Sorry, Phone pic.
Me with Steve's Aunt Dee Dee (left) and Grandma (right). 2 very funny and interesting women to be with and talk to...such great stories!

Easton's Great Grandpa! It was just so fun for me to see him interact with Steve's grandparents...even though he's kinda wild and crazy, they are so patient and playful. Easton is recently learning how to tickle people, so that's what he was doing...and he thought his grandpa's beard was the coolest thing ever.

Love it! Now they need to come to Idaho. And E needs to come too so he can tickle me!

Sounds like a great visit! It's so nice to get company and especially when it's people who will treat with dinners out! I love it when Craig and Julie come, not only for that reason but it sure is a perk!

I'm glad you had a great time. I love to hear the stories that dad and Nita tell. I need to write them down so I don't forget them. I love the clip of President Hinckley's testimony. Thanks for including it. Love you. Lani

So it's offical... The kids and I are the only ones that haven't gotten to come see you!!! It makes me cry... We miss you all so much.
I wish grandpa would have taken that much intrest in my kids the few times he has seen them.
Love ya,
Lara
P.S. not only am I being nagged at for my non-blogging, I'm also being labled as an non-commentor too. It would be so much easier it I could ascess them at school. They block sites like this, and the kids want my full attention when I get home.

I love that photo of Easton and his Grandpa! That is so special that they were able to see him and spend time with him, I know you don't see them that often. Easton looks taller. I miss him!

Yeah, I can just imagine you gambling your savings away, Emily. Yeah, right. I'm glad you had a good visit. It's true when you live in a cool place like Vegas, you get a lot of fun visitors!
