Lots of Swearing

Well, it's official. After being sworn in twice in one week, in two different states, Steve is now officially a lawyer in Idaho and Nevada! I just wanted to post pics of the event today. It was fun to go and see where he works and meet the people he spends his whole day with.

Awwww...nice photo.

Your title is awesome!

And I'm surprised you haven't taken a moment to rub in the fact that your phone tactics WORKED! Poor Brooke.

Yea, I did feel kind of sad for Brooke. And I wished it would have been Jason first, but hey, what can ya do?

YAY Steve! that is so exciting! AH I can't wait for that day.

Anyway I kinda think it was Brooke's time to go, although, I would have liked to see Castro go as well. I'm glad it wasn't Syesha though!

Those photos are so great! So he is already sworn in in NV. Why the long wait for ID? We are so proud of him and happy for you all. He looks like Judge Rogers:)

Congrats Steve! Easton does look so happy and proud of his daddy. Do we have another future lawyer, following in his Dad's footsteps?

Congrats!! He looks all official and fancy, in his nice suit and tie. Absolutely love the family picture. Easton looks like he is having the time of his life. Steve looks proud as can be of his family.

You guys deserve it. Way to go!!!!

Thanks everyone!

The long wait for Idaho was because I kept putting it off. I didn't want to pay to make the trip. In Nevada, any judge can swear you in, and even a notary can swear you in. In Idaho you have to appear before the Supreme Court.

Thanks to everyone for their help and support! And especially thank you to Emily. I couldn't have done it without her. She really has been so great throughout the whole 4 year process! She is an amazing woman!

You do always swear. Maybe you should stop? :P

So um how come Jason didn't get kicked off, I thought we decided he was supposed to go? If he wins I'm going to break my TV. I'm TOTALLY serious!

Happy, happy day! That's crazy that Nevada and Idaho have such strick swearing in ceremonies. In Oregon, you just sat in an auditorium. Everyone stood as a group, raised their hand and repeated something and sat down. Pretty much I swore myself into being an official lawyer and I totally avoided three years of law school and taking the bar. Pretty sneaky huh?

How exciting! It seems like there was a lot of swearing involved but I am so excited for him and can't wait for the day when Paul is a real lawyer too. Only two more years!!! And passing the bar in two states means that you have the opportunity to move around a little bit if you like.

Awesome! Just what we need in the family. We have educators, professionals, medical, cops and now...a lawyer! Please, from the law enforcement side of the family, please don't go to the proverbal DARK SIDE! :)

Congratulations Steve!
