Home Sweet Home...Until We Move

We're back, and I'm exhausted. I have been packing for 2 days straight and really shouldn't even be blogging right now, but I just wanted to throw these pictures on here. We had a BLAST in Oregon and were busy the whole time with wedding prep, family in town, and lots of play time.

Back up just a second and we will recap the drive from Rexburg to Springfield. Road trips with my family were never dull growing up. My dad always liked to stop at random places that nobody else ever stops at. It breaks up the trip a little and makes things more fun. The above picture is at Massacre Rock somewhere in Idaho between Pocatello and Burley. Some Pioneers were minding their own business and the Indians attacked them, bla bla bla...it was freezing out there and I just wanted to get back in the car.
We were going to try to make it to Burns that first day and get most of the trip over with, but my parents, who were riding with Easton decided to stop in Ontario. Their reason? Easton wanted to go to the park. He sure has them wrapped around his little finger! It was a good idea though, he had tons of fun and was able to get lots of energy out before another day of traveling. I'm just sad we didn't have the camera around when my mom fell down the slide. It was the best.

Below is the water fountain with fresh water from the mountain. Somewhere in between Ontario and Burns. Easton thought it was pretty cool and I hadn't done it since I was a kid, so it was a good stop.

Here he is getting more energy out. The end of the week was busy with wedding parties and plans but Easton just wanted to jump on the trampoline. I'm a good mom like that, letting my broken-footed kid jump around. The beautiful bride and groom! It was such a good day at the temple. Congrats Steph and Jarom!

An outing so Saturday Market with Jill and the boys. We were so glad to have them in town for the wedding, Easton loved having those cute boys to play with.
Such a long trip, so tired on the plane.
We missed Daddy!!!!

Easton's pictures turned out really cute! I really like the ones on the bench. And good thing that Oregon rain finally shut off long enough for outdoor pics.
