Portland Jolley's Visit

Well it's no secret that I love visitors (and NEPHEWS!!!), but I especially love first time visitors! Technically Marc and Connie have been to Vegas, but not while we were living here and not with the kids! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!!! I just love those boys so much, they are the cutest, nicest and coolest kids around. Easton thought they were AWESOME and followed Kellen around everywhere and wanted to do whatever he did. Kellen is a way good sport. It was a pretty laid back visit, but we had fun and hopefully the Jolley fam had a good spring break vacation. We played at the park a lot...the weather wasn't great, but not horrible. Perfect park weather. The kids thought it was great swimming weather too. I thought they were nuts...that water was freezing.Caleb really wanted to see the "yions" at MGM, so we did that, but of course the yions were just lying around. BUT...they did have some super cute baby lion cubs. Cutest things I have ever seen, and for the right price you could hold them. The right price = 200 dollars for 5 minutes. So we enjoyed them from the window.Crazy kids!!!

At my Grandpa and Uncle's graves.

Marc hadn't been back to Beaver since he was little, and so his wife and kids had never met some of our family there, so we decided it would be way fun to cram all 7 of us into a minivan and make the 3 1/2 hour trip there and back in one day. We got to see lots of cousins, my grandma, and as a bonus my mom and sister were there too. And considering the long drive, the kids did great, so all in all it was a fun day.

Here we are all crammed in my grandma's room. It was pure chaos for a good hour. No wonder my grandma looks like she's about to fall asleep.

Carly and Grandma sharing a coke and cookie. 2 cute girls, 92 years apart. My grandma would be ticked if she knew I took this picture with her oxygen thingy in...

I really had such a fun week while they were here. It was a jam-packed few days but so much fun. Growing up Marc and I didn't...like each other so much sometimes, but I'm so glad we got past all that because I just love him and his little family so much!

Other favorites from the week:
* Easton freaking out because he thought Uncle Marc was going to get him (he would laugh and squeal SO loud).
* Caleb's cutest little voice: Easton -- "Are we out of Las Vegas yet?" Caleb-- "It takes a yong time Easton."
* Chatting with Marc and Connie
* Listening to the boys and their silly conversations

Wow, you did cram a lot in that week, I forgot you drove to Beaver one day- crazy, but fun. I'm glad you get to enjoy your family even though they live so far away. No wonder Easton lost his voice- all that screaming and squealing!

Such a cute post, I love all the pictures and I love it when our family spends time together and loves each other so much. You and Steve are such great hosts, I'm sure Marc and Connie loved it as much as you did.

Thanks so much for making the trip to Beaver, that was going the extra mile but it sure made my day as well as Jenni's and Grandma's.

I've had so many posts to catch up with! I love all the pictures. I love the story of Steve wanting to sue the pirates not shoot them! I loved it when Easton asked if I wanted to go an adventure! Thanks for a fun week! Love you!

Your grandma is so cute, it is so neat to see such a generation gap between her and Carlie. Looks like you had a busy and fun week!

Oh so jealous. Looks like a great time. I wonder how long it will take for us to become "first time visitors"? It's just killing me.

So great you got to drive to Beaver to see soooo many people!
