The Beautiful Oregon Coast

I couldn't pick and choose, I love them all! The ocean is one of my favorite places, especially the Oregon Coast. Sure it's not great for swimming, but the scenery is unbeatable. And the weather, while majorly unpredictable and usually crappy, was beautiful and warm. We lucked out big time.
First stop, Mo's of course! Their clam chowder is delicious and famous. The same will never be said of their fish tacos.
This was right after Carly stuck her feet in the Ocean for the very first time. Too cold!!

Easton's dinosaur.

The house in the background is where Steve and I stayed on our honeymoon. The Lookout. It's gorgeous ocean views and beach access made up for the dated 70's decor. I loved this place. Steve and I reached 8 years of marriage this August, and we really didn't get a chance to celebrate much. I just hope he knows how much I love him. It was fun to be back at that beach with our 2 great kids...wish he could have been there. Love you babe!

Thanks Grandma and Grandpa, it was such a treat to spend time at the coast. We loved every second of it!!

Oh that is one of my favorite places in Oregon, we used to go to that exact lighthouse with my grandparents, I'm so jealous! Bex has the same blue shirt as Carly, I love it, I just wish it was next summer so she could wear it. Congrats on 8 years...I still remember the days before you were married, CRAZY!

It looks so clear and beautiful... and COLD!!! I love how Easton's dinosaur had to check out the water with him! I love the beach pictures, that's the greatest sandbox ever!! Will you take me with you next time you go? I've never been but everyone says it's the best place.

Oh I miss the OR coast! Thanks for making me sufficiently jealous and wish I had family that lived in OR so I had an excuse to go back and visit. Cute pictures.

Love the pictures. I think I like the peaceful one of you all by yourself, relaxing, lying on the sand in the sun. It just reeks of peaceful. Seriously, I am so glad that you had such a great time, back home with your parents. I'm sure they were in Heaven having you guys there.

I'm glad you back, I have missed you blog updates!!!

I love all of this. Mo's of course is great, looks like you had a blast at the coast. I love how on your header Easton is the only person looking where he's supposed to. I love that you go visit your parents as much as you do. I think the last time I was in Oregon was probably almost 4 years ago. :( I totally remember the Mitchels. I never realized that your mom and him went quite that far back!!! Carly is adorable, as are the rest of you. SHe's totally a Jolley. :)

Ok, seriously? I LOVE Oregon Coast pictures!! Even on the highly overcast days, the lighting is perfect. I don't think I've ever really seen a bad coast picture. And I'm so jealous you got to go. We haven't been since Labor Day last year and I was really bummed to find out we're actually even farther away than when we lived in Springfield. It's kinda cool to be farther North, though, and closer to Seaside and Tillamook and Astoria.
Anyway, in case you weren't totally convinced - I loved your coast pictures!! :)
