Christmas and New Years

Gotta do a real quick Christmas wrap up. The past few years we have been home for Christmas and it has been great. We love spending the day together as a family. The week after Christmas we went to Idaho to visit family, so this year we got the best of both worlds; family Christmas, and cousins afterward. Yippee!!

Easton and I hit up Tangled on Christmas Eve. We both liked it, and I loved spending a little quality time with my buddy. He is growing up so fast.

Christmas morning Carly wasn't feeling great. She basically got up, peeked at her gifts and played for a minute and then went back to bed.

Every little girl needs a doll and stroller!! I love watching her push it around, she's so cute!!!

Santa brought Easton a scooter. We have quite a bit of practicing to do, but he likes it. Hopefully soon he'll be a pro. He's very cautious, always wants to have his knee pads on.
Christmas was so fun this year and we were all very spoiled!

We had been planning for months to go up to Idaho for New Year's for baby Tyce's(Steve's sister Aimee's baby) blessing. Our plan was to drive, but when the day came to leave, Utah was under lots of snow and ice, and we were too worried to drive in it. So at the last minute we just went for it and got plane tickets. Steve never gets to take time off work, and it was a chance for the whole family to be together. And boy are we glad we did. LOOK AT THAT FACE!! Made the freezing cold trip worth it.

This is Addie. She is Carly's age. She and I were playing with Aunt Aimee's camera after the blessing. She really does love me, she had just woken up from a nap.

This is our mustache party. Everyone sported a fun (or super creepy) mustache for the evening. Easton was introduced to Super Mario on the wii this week, so he wanted a mustache like Mario, and he kept saying over and over, "I'm a Mario" in his best Italian accent. It was pretty funny.
We had a great time catching up and playing with cousins. We were also spoiled by everyone with more christmas, it was so much fun!! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for making it all happen and for letting us stay with you for a whole week!

I brought my camera but forgot my camera card, so I took NO pictures. Thanks Aimee for these. And thanks for having a cute baby so we could come meet him. He's perfect!

Mustache party? That's HILARIOUS!!!! Where did you find all those? That is just the funniest thing. Women were just not meant to have facial hair. Out of all the pics, yours was definitely the best. Glad you had a good christmas. Love you.

We need to get the boys together to "practice" on thier scooters. Nathan is very slow-going too. I love Carly, her locks, her cute stroller and her cute voice! Glad you had a good holiday, and I'm glad you're back. Now it's time to play!

Merry Christmas! I agree with the best of both worlds thing. We loved having Christmas at home, but then going to see family too! Poor Carly. Sick on Christmas is the worst. Fun presents and hope to see you sometime soon! I'll call soon. It has been way too long.

Such fun pictures, I love Carly pushing her stroller and Easton on his scooter. I remember he had fun with Joseph on his and hopefully he will get the hang of it real soon. So glad your Christmas we merry and that you didn't brave the roads to Idaho but that you got to go see that new baby.
