August...So Far So Good!

We went on THE most fun vacation to Idaho and Central Oregon a couple weeks ago. I want to blog all about it and pretend I'm still there, but I have to wait for fam to email me pictures because...my camera's broken, remember? It. Was. A. Blast. The kids loved going for bike rides. I need a Burley! Well, and a bike.

Steve and I celebrated our 9th anniversary. Crazy. We were able to ditch our kids for the night and headed to Lake Las Vegas. We had never been there and it was nice to not have to do the bed time/morning time routine. Thanks Grahams, it's nice knowing our kids were in good hands. We ALMOST didn't come pick them up. :)We took this with Steve's fancy new I-Phone.

I hate Steve's fancy new I-Phone. Sure they're awesome and can do everything, but now he's on his phone even more than before, and Easton whines all the time because he wants to play games on it.

I got Easton's kindergarten info in the mail. I almost immediately started bawling. It's 2.5 hours a day for crying out loud but it still makes me sad that he's growing up so much. He's my little buddy and I want him to stay that way forever. He's so excited though, it's fun to see him love school.
Remember when he was little? And had hair? So cute!

You are making me sad with all this Easton's growing up stuff! Why can't they stay little? Happy anniversary, you guys are getting grown up too!!

Kindergarten? Already?! He's so old! It's sad and fun all at the same time.

Oh, and iphones rule! Just don't put fun kid games on your phone and they'll stop wanting to play with it. Haha, I'm a rude mom.

Kindergarten is killing me and it hasn't even started. Why are we sending Emery all day? I love that picture of Easton. He is one cute boy, no wonder Emery and Reagan fight over who will marry him (I hope Emery wins, for reals).

Can't wait to see pics of the trip and I am so glad you had a fun anniversary trip.

Miles wears that shirt all the time - we love it :) It still fits! I love Lake Las Vegas - you can pretend you don't live in Vegas for a few hours. Congratulations on your anniversary!

It was wonderful to see you but not nearly long enough. I'll send some photos, that was such a fun time. Can Easton have hair again? PLEASE, I love that picture! All the girls fighting over him already, can you imagine what it will be like in a few years? It makes me sad to think of him going to Kindergarten, don't let Carly do that. Miss them.

For me it's never gotten easier, I cry on the first day every year. Kindergarten is hard, I get to go through that again...ugh!
Enjoy him when he's home, he'll be all day in the blink of an eye and then like Beth and Britt he'll be a junior in HS! CRAZY!!!

Black Butte was so amazing. I'm so glad you guys could make it.

Didn't realize you were holding out on me! I just read your comment on Jenni's blog about not coming to Seattle until I make it to Vegas. Rude! But kinda fair. :)

So it's October tomorrow and I'm just going through my Black Butte pics. Pathetic, I know. But I'll send along some of my faves!
