It's Go Time

Somehow we made it through these last few weeks. I have a good husband, good friends, and the tv to thank for that. After my final visit to the dr we decided that it's time to get this baby out, so I'll be induced a week early. I go in at 12:30 am on Monday. I just wanted to recap these last few weeks and if you make it to the end of all the pics, you can guess the weight and time of the birth if you want. I'm still not thrilled about the idea of being induced and am still hoping I'll go into labor on my own in the next 24 hours. We'll see.

Saw these lasers on pinterest and thought I would be the best mom ever if I did this. We had some friends over and I was so excited. But really the kids didn't think it was as cool as I did, and it only held their attention for a few minutes.

And sometimes, when you try to do fun things for your kids, they still lay on the floor and throw fits at the top of the stairs.

Carly got invited to her first real birthday party and had a blast! It was a super cute Cars party for our neighbor friend. She really got into the pinata.

It was Easton's turn to be Star Student this week at school. This is the poster he made about all of the things he likes to do, and about his family. They also get to do show and tell, choose a book to read, and be the special helper in class. I'm glad he had something fun to do this past week at school.

Daddy time. Wresting and reading. Easton is doing a read-a-thon at school so he has been reading a lot. I LOVE listening to him read more than anything.

My friends threw me a surprise baby shower. It was super fun and thoughtful! I really couldn't have gotten through these past few months without so many wonderful people. I have been spoiled and well taken care of.

I don't know why this pic is so small, but it's Kara and I and my cute diaper cake she made. She just got done with chemo, doesn't she look fantastic? She is. Fantastic I mean.

We also tried to cram in a swimming session for E. Not the smartest idea a week before giving birth, but oh well. He had a blast so that made it all worth it.

Carly was a little sad she couldn't swim too but she did good watching every day. Too bad he didn't pass his class. He loves swimming, but apparently isn't very good at it yet. Good thing we have 5 months of summer coming up to practice!

And that brings us to yesterday. I wanted a picture with my kids; the ones who have been put through the ringer these past couple of months and put up with a seriously crazy mom. Sometimes I couldn't deal with them and had no patience, and I'm sure they felt the same about me. But I sure do love them and can't wait to meet their sister!

I just need to say thank you one more time for everyone who helped me get through this pregnancy. It was a rough one. So many people watched my kids, brought me dinner, listened to me whine (if you have had a conversation with me in the past 2 months you fall into this category), taken me out for girls' nights, and really have just been there for me. I am forever grateful.
Now, let's have a baby!!! If you feel like it, leave your guesses. Here is some help; I have huge babies. Wish us luck!

I just prayed for you. I would never want to be induced. I would be so ticked if I made that laser thing and they weren't into it! Ok, how are you still so skinny? I mean, you have your BELLY, but the rest of you isn't fat at all! What's up with that?! I was such a whale the last 2 weeks. Oh man, it was BAD. You look really good. BTW I'm having a BOY. Shockaroo. I'm thrilled but still don't know how to handle it. A boy seems so strange in some ways. Well, I hope it all goes well. I have been waiting for the babe post. I thought you already had her! Good luck with all the fun labor pains. Thank goodness for epidurals. I never could have lived in the pioneer days. Never. Love you! Oh yes, I can't believe you have a kid that can READ.
